Hey there friends, I thought I'd try having a weekly post where I share some fun things from around the Internet and also share some thoughts and ideas that are more personal. I've done this before, but when things in life became crazy or I was too busy with blogging commitments I'd slack off and lose momentum. But I've realized there are so many times when I'd like to share just a small idea or image or some random thought, but I had no place to really do that. My brain fills up with bits and pieces and I'd like to have a dedicated space to share them.

All About Home Link Party #193
Amber from
Follow the Yellow Brick Home and I are so excited to be co-hosting this fun link party, that celebrates
"All Things Home". We love to see what
You are up to each week, so please join in
with your decor, seasonal fun, gardens, DIYs, recipes and more. We each pick
and share features each week, so be sure and visit both of us to check out the
weekly highlights.
Last week I shared a unique take on a mossy springtime wreath that I put
together 2 years ago. It still remains one of my favorite spring wreaths I've
put together. I've used it mostly in the Entry area on the console from early
spring to early summer.
And earlier in the week I shared my vintage display spot in the kitchen/hearth
room area with a fun garden-y vignette on the Cookbook Cupboard.
Be sure and check out Amber's
You'll love these beautiful DIY and Spring posts. Two front porches for
Spring, with a super fun paint and stenciled rug to bring a small porch area
some zip and zing. A look at above the cabinets as a great spot to display
vintage collections and a delicious red velvet brownie, yummy for any time
of year.
Fresh and gorgeous; huge colorful cabbage with spring branches.

I LOVE this vibrant pumpkiny color and the white contrast of the porch.

I spy my own vintage collection of mixing bowls that my great grandmother
used every day!

Nature's Wild Victorian Springtime Wreath
Hi Friends, today I'm sharing a wonderful wreath that's a bit of a different take on a natural look for Spring. This is the perfect time of year to look to nature and the outdoors for our decor inspiration. What we might see in a leisurely country walk; bird nests, vines, wildflowers, and moss all come together here with an antique wooden frame for a wild and beautiful Victorian look.

Cupboard Top Spring Garden Vignette
Hi Friends, it's hard for me to believe, but I haven't shared the cookbook cupboard (in real time) since last late summer. It has been seasonally decorated, but somehow didn't make it to the blog. Since I love decorating with a garden theme for spring I wanted to make sure that I share the latest on the cupboard top.

Spring Fresh at All About Home #192
Hi Everyone, thanks so much for coming by. Hope you're having good weather wherever you are. It's crazy here with days at 80, then the next day in the 50s. It's still a little soon to buy my ferns for the porches or think about flower containers, and we're all dealing with tree pollen and debris which floats around till June. I love my back porch, but it can become a trap for all the yard mess.

Spring Pastels in the Garden Room Sitting Area
Hey there friends, Since it's mid-April, and even though Easter was last week, I'm still keeping a bit of an Easter Vibe in my Garden Room sitting area. Pastels and a few leftover bunnies and rabbits are still hanging around. Soon birds and nests will take over the decor, but right now, the lighter and pastel colors of early spring are on display.
