My Bloomin' Weekend

I think I finally have my back deck in shape. I re-stained the stairs this week after dropping a full gallon of it in the garage and having a huge mess to clean up. Thank the good Lord I had a full container of paint thinner on hand. So two hours later I finally got started on the project at hand.

Just wanted to share these little flower vignettes that I have out here. This is right off the sunroom and looking out my kitchen window, so I need some "pretty" to look at.

This old iron railing in chippy white was a recent flea market find,
(a 10 dollar deal)
I have several pieces of old fencing out here,
and then the white gate behind the table.

I left these photos as is because the pinks were so vibrant I didn't want to change the photos. The two potted ones in the old cement containers are million-bells.

My favorite Garden Lamb

I think someone or something has been having this one for lunch...

Vintage Inspiration #87 Shabby Story

You're in for a real treat today that's full of shabby pastel goodness.
Say Hello to Lynn from Shabby Story, who lives in Avon, Indiana with her husband, son, and an adorable American Bulldog named Bailey. Many of you may know Lynn as her blog and photos continuously have been featured on many of the weekly link parties. Lynn started her blog late last summer to share the renovation of her new home, and she is fortunate to have a handy hubby that helps her translate her vision for the most amazing projects.

Pink Garden Cabinet

Not only are her projects wonderful, but her photography and styling
have me feeling like I'm thumbing through magazine pages.

Lacey Potting Table

This is the one I flipped over and featured here on Vintage Inspiration,
an outdoors mantle vignette.

(If you pin Lynn's wonderful photos,
please go to her blog so she gets the link.)

Thanks so much Lynn,
We love your blog!

Here are a few other great links you'll love from last week;

Swiss Miss medicine cabinet from Vickie at Ranger 911

A wonderful table vignette from Linda at the White Weathered Hutch

Please read this post from Gail at Bible Love Notes,

took us shopping at Marburger...love this idea!

(anyone know whose booth this is? just gorgeous!)

I want you to know how much I appreciate you all coming over here to party each week. I'm continuously amazed at all the talent and inspiration you all put forth. It's no wonder why all the magazines are focusing on bloggers, you all are the best!

Hope you'll join in today for Vintage Inspiration

Monday Marketplace #11

Hi Everyone, hope you had a great weekend,
and that you have some fun items to share today.
Remember the link is up all week, so be sure and come back by
to check on what's been added throughout the week.

Here are a few items from last week,

3 Large Vintage Aqua Ball Jars from ArtJoyStuff

and hey, some more cool jars...

Set of 4 Hazel Atlas Refrigerator Jars
from Vintage Goodness

Wonderful Handmade Hessian Cushion from Jeannette O'Donnell

Vintage Robin Egg's Blue from My Soulfull Home
(oh my gosh, these are so cute!!)

and a Union Jack Pillow from Drop Cloth Design Co.
made of...drop cloths!!! so cool!

OK, time to link up to three items
from your Etsy or Online Boutique or Website.
Please try to link to the individual item if possible.
And I'd love for you to grab the Monday Marketplace button
for someplace on your blog, to let other's know.

A few people have mentioned that the thumbnail pics look blurry. I think that's because Etsy requires smaller pixel photos. I'm pretty sure that instead of choosing the photo that comes up on the link you can choose "web" and go to your Picture hosting site and click on it there. I've tried it in the past and my thumbnail was much clearer.  Since you can delete your thumbnail link, feel free to try it if you'd like. AND You don't have to have a blog to join in, everyone is welcome!

Thanks so much for joining in,
Have Fun!
