Vintage Inspiration Friday #8

OK, I know I'm a little late here...
and these bottles are something that most grade school crafters
have mastered.

But hey...
I got bit by the "crafty bug" last week,
so I made up a bunch of Halloween themed bottles
and littered them throughout my booth at Spring Creek.

This one was for my sister since she has "boys".

I'm a huge fan of 1920's children's book graphics
and old postcards.

And you KNOW how much I love me some old keys!

I'm trying to get the jump on bottles for Christmas,
a project for next week, yipee!

I'm also linking with the DIY Show Off Party
for some fabulous fall fun!

Remember, next
Vintage Inspiration Friday
the "optional" theme is setting a
 Fall or Halloween Table.

I've already seen a lot of fabulous posts about Fall tablescapes,
so if you've done one, I'd love you to link up!

(pssst...my header photo is a hint of what I did for the next party)

And you know, it's ANY vintage inspiration!!

Hope you'll come by and link up to the par-tay!!

love,
Debra

Sorry for the confusion here. It seems my computer has a mind of it's own when it comes to scheduling and publishing. The Link is open now!

Out and About at Riverview Antique Mall

I've had these photos of my friend Laura's booth at Riverview
in Ozark for several weeks.
(can someone say "get your rear in gear"?)

She has this new bigger booth that is always my #1 destination.
I always find something wonderful there.
(she has great prices too!)

Laura is a dear, so enjoy browsing.
She was changing out some things when I was there
so I just took vignette photos.
If you're in the area, be sure to look her up.

Hey Guys!!!

love,
Debra

Fall Sideboard

I'm always on overload in the Fall.
So many ideas, projects and things I want to do.
So I thought I'd better share
my hallway sideboard dressed for Fall
before it was time to change it up again for Thanksgiving!

I've had it here in the Hall for a  year now,
and I have to say it has become my favorite place to decorate.

As you can see, it's a little crazy to photograph
because of the stairs.

Each new season or holiday
I literally take everything off the top,
and start over after a cleaning.

That way I have a clear place to start rebuilding.

And while I was in the Hall,
I thought I'd throw in my Entry table
just for good measure.

And don't forget about
 Vintage Inspiration Friday,
...Every Friday!

October 29th our theme is a Fall/Halloween Table.
(and I can't wait to show you what we did!)

Today I'm linking with

Have a great week, everyone!
love,
Debra

I'm stupified...
but have loved this blog
from the very beginning!

Vintage Inspiration Friday #7

Time for Vintage Inspiration Friday!

Today, I wanted to share my little black goat cart dressed for Fall.
Filled with a harvest basket and faux and fabric pumpkins,
it sets in my Living Room next to the Entry.

I used to have it out on my front porch,
but I brought it inside a few years ago.
Last year my smaller Christmas tree lived there for the season.

AND I added a little black mail box filled with Fall goodies,
 to my front porch decor.

I was totally amazed at the gorgeous front porches
that you all showed off last week.

There were so many creative decor touches
and magazine quality porches and photos.
Thank you so much for participating in the theme!!

On October 29th the theme will be "setting the table"
for a great Halloween or Fall dinner or party.
(if you choose, otherwise any vintage inspiration is welcome!)

Hope you can join in this weekend,
Remember, it's any Vintage Inspiration,
not just Fall or Halloween!

Have an Inspired Day!
love,
Debra
