If you've been reading Common Ground for awhile you know I have that I have an old "married" dresser and top that I have affectionately termed, "the Holiday Cupboard". It's a place to decorate for the seasons and holidays, where lot's of odds and ends usually end up. So today's version is a few bits and pieces of vintage Easter.
Vintage See's Candy Tin and Chalkware Duckling
Framed Vintage Easter Postcard
I showed my cupboard earlier this week with my bookends post.
It's downstairs in my wicker area, one of my favorite places in the house.
I changed out my white pottery on the top shelf, and now it's showing off my little vintage creamers and pitchers. A few of them have a "berry" theme with basketweave. My white painted suitcases on top have had more pageviews than almost any other post. Just interior white paint and a lot of patience.
You'd think after two years of having those suitcases stacked here,
the least I could so is have them straight.
Guess not...I'm short!
Going to get the step ladder now...
Let's take a goosey gander at what you all were doing last week:
Cristina from Remodelando la Casa not only shares her wonderful Easter Tablescape, she shows us her beautiful "new" chandy, all blinged out for Spring.
A very special vintage Bird Cage arrived as a gift to Debbie from Debbie-doos, and is now hanging in her wonderful wooded back yard.
Who wouldn't want to be treated to Breakfast in Bed by Susan and Bentley with this adorable display of Peter Rabbit, dishes and figurines, from Ash Tree Cottage?
And Sue from Sullivan and Murphy shared her recent find of a wonderful pastoral scene, with, yes...my favorites...lambs! just gorgeous!
You all were exceptionally inspiring last week,
wish I could feature at least 25 more of you!!!
You still have time to enter the Give Away
from Cottage in the Oaks!

I want you all to know how much I appreciate each one of you coming over here each week to link up to the party. I may not get to leave a comment with everyone, but I pop in to see what you've posted. Thank you so much, hope you enjoy visiting here. If you get a minute try to visit one or two other links, and say Hello. And please have a link within your blogpost, so other's will know where to come party.
Have a Blessed Easter Weekend. My hope is that we can all celebrate Jesus' Resurrection with a renewed spirit of His Grace, Love, and Joy.
xoxo,
