Top Three Links from Vintage Inspiration

How are all of you holding up...still working on decor? Good grief, I can't believe that I'm just now finishing up. I did have a houseful of company until Sunday afternoon, if that makes any difference. This is always a marathon for me, putting away my oodles of Fall decor and then the big changeover to Christmas. OK, just a few wayward turkeys needing to find their homes under the bar downstairs. So here are the top three links from last week's Vintage Inspiration. It's clear that some of you are miles ahead of me this week!

And a fabulous Romantic Christmas Tree from Penny

(you have to find out what it's made from)

Hope you'll all join in for Vintage Inspiration tomorrow.

More from the Entry Hall

A few days ago I gave you just a little glimpse of what I was working on in the Entry Hall. To tell you the truth, I didn't really know where I was going with my Christmas decor this year. I had an idea, but it hadn't been developed yet. I need to have some inspirational "direction", and for the Entry Hall I found it in this silvery glittered swag and wreath. Everything needed to stay white with some glitter for good measure.

I have had a large (and heavy) vintage chalkware goose that I bought about seven years ago. It was "faux bois", so it had a brownish wood grain finish. It was a cool piece, but I painted it white so I could use it upstairs this year. Here she is with a little book page wreath ornament I bought from my sweet friend, Kenda, at Leola's Open House. It has our initial in it, so it's even more adorable.

A pair of bottle brush trees, a little greenery,
and my oatmeal tree in the urn.

Then just a few little details

I've been surprised where I've gone this year in the Dining Room and Living Room. I wanted to simplify. I'm not sure I did that, but one thing for sure, it's different.
