Hi there friends, today I'm sharing a chunk of Easter inspiration, because Easter will be here in just a few short weeks. I've been blogging for about 14 years and have a few Spring and Easter posts in the archive that I hope are still current and relevant. I was concentrating on ideas for Easter cloches, so I thought I'd share this one specifically, because it contains 3 versions of an Easter cloche.

Creating an Autumn Cloche
Happy First Day of Fall!
My last post I shared the Dining Room with a mini Home Tour; if you haven't seen that post you can catch it HERE. I focused on the Dining Room table with a large urn with fall natural elements, but I also shared the buffet with several cloches dressed up for Fall. So today I thought I'd focus on the grouping of cloches that celebrate fall and a few others that in the past I've put together for the Autumn Season.

Spring Mantel and Cloches
I'm late for the Mantel and Cloche parties...
you wanna know why?
because I have a stash of Easter goodies
that I simply cannot find!
I have lots of places to store things,
and I'm trying to get more organized,
but dang it...
I've put them somewhere and now I can't find them!
I need to start making notes of where things are.
Anyhoo, I found these little guys and they are getting to be center stage.
Come to think of it,
maybe they hid my vintage bunnies from last year
so they could get the primo mantel spot.
oh yes, just look at the guilt written all over that face!
This paper mache buns I've had for probably 28 years,
he still is a favorite, but needs a little TLC in the paint touch up department.
I bought some paper eggs last year, I think from Michaels,
so they are hanging from the faux pussy willows and branches.
I'm hoping my lanterns will qualify as "cloches",
and I did "Spring-ify" them this week.
these two are in the Entry.
And this fella is nibbling on the hallway sideboard.
He's a porcelain sweetheart
you know how it goes...
I'll probably find everything just in time for Halloween.
Please tell me that there are others of you out there
that have had this happen to you.
So if it's not to late I'm joining in on these Spring Parties:
Cloches at A Stroll Thru Life
Mantles at Grits and Glamour
and mantles at Fox Hollow Cottage

Vintage Cottage Weekend: Dining Room French Country Easter
Hi there Friends, thanks so much for coming by our Vintage Cottage Weekend. I've been working in the Dining Room the last few days to bring out some Easter decor. I found a new piece of fabric for a tablerunner that I'm so excited about. I love a brown and pastel floral for Spring, so it's a fresh new subtle look for my table. But before I shared this year's look, I wanted to take a look back at last year's Dining Room with French country vibes for the Easter season.

Vintage Inspiration Friday #30: "Cloche" at Hand
A few weeks ago, after visiting
Leola's Vintage Home and Garden's Spring Open house
I was filled with all sorts of inspiration for Spring.
One of my favorite spaces was created by Judy, one of the owners.
I spent so much time ooohing and aaahing over her moss covered garden and cloches.
Anything "Vintage Garden" always stops me in my tracks!
I've not tried African Violets before,
but I couldn't resist this little punch of color for one of my cloches.
Tiered cake plates covered in faux moss are the base for this Springtime tribute.
The milk glass one on the bottom was my mom's.
And I brought out my nativity lambs in honor of Easter.
These pics were taken while I was waiting for the paint to dry
on my Eastlake dresser in the entry hall.
Sorry for the glare of the glass,
I tried these in several spots, just couldn't get away from the glare.
Here's Judy's space again,
She found these delicate ferns and moss on her gorgeous country property.
Oh how I love these chippy white shutters!
Thank you Judy, for some wonderful Spring time ideas!
I really appreciate each one of you that links up for the Party!
You all make it so hard to choose just four to feature.
I love seeing all your great vintage inspiration,
so remember, anything vintage or "vintage inspired".
Here's some great inspiration from last week:

If you've been featured please grab the "featured" button,
and I'd love for you to show the VIF button on your sidebar or post.
I always try to take the time to show off all the great parties,
people are much more apt to visit if the cute button is there.
So if you have time, come by and visit these other great parties that I'm linking to!
Hopefully, I'm finishing up the Laundry Room this weekend.
Actually, it turned out better than I thought.
"The Reveal" (lol!!), next week!
Have a great weekend
lots of love,
Debra

Sunflower Botanical Cloche
I have several cloches that I keep on the Buffet in the Dining Room, and even though they usually have the same basic elements of nests, birds, and woodsy things, I like to give them a mini update with florals and seasonal elements.

Autumn Home Tour
In the Entry and Dining Room
Hello dear friends, September is speeding by and we're now headlong into the Autumn season. Even though the long awaited fall weather seems to be dragging it's feet for most of us, our indoor spaces are reflecting the harvest colors and décor that are a yearly hallmark for our love for Fall.
