My Year in Pictures...
Hi Friends, I hope you had a Wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to a Happy New Year. Last year I started what I think will be a new tradition. Instead of having multiple posts about the most viewed posts or whatever, from the last year of blogging, I just decided to share some of my favorite pics and ideas from the year. Some may seem random, but they have stuck in my memory. There are links to the particular post, but you can see much more by just following my journey in my Archives which are on the sidebar.

My Year in Pictures...
It's the time of the year, as all bloggers know, to take a look back at what we've blogged about this last year; basically to do a little recap and review of 2016. I'm a little short on projects, room reveals, and DIY's. I didn't travel the world, go to enlightening blog conferences, or have a feature in one of my favorite decorating magazines. Those are all great things, but basically that hasn't been my year in 2016.

What a Year!
Like all of you, I love a "Year in Review", "Best DIY Projects" or "Favorites" post, but when thinking back over this last year I didn't feel like I'd been very creative or productive. This last year has been one of the hardest, most demanding of my life. A year ago, we made the decision after much prayer, to begin the process of what I thought would be a major downsizing. We leased a small house and moved out of our larger home of 11 years, taking only what we had room for...the essentials. Then spent the next 6 months, selling, purging, giving away, packing, moving, and renovating. We then put our home, having had a wonderful "facelift", on the market, all the time praying for God's direction.
Temporary lease house, was God's real blessing.

Be Inspired #171 Link Up Your Top Posts of 2013
Hope 2014 is getting off to a good start at your house. We have a fresh blanket of snow which makes for such a pretty picture, but I'll be here packing my studio today. In case you've missed my last couple of posts, we have big changes coming with this New Year. We'll be downsizing and leasing a smaller house in order to do updates to this one before putting it on the market. We're planning to move within the next month or so. I'm hoping you'll be along for all the changes and craziness. I may need a hug and a "snap out of it" slap in the face occasionally. LOL!!
I imagine a lot of you are getting back to "regular life" after the Holidays today, so if you have a few favorite posts or a Review Post hope you'll link up for a look back at 2013!
Please have an individual link back to Common Ground within your post. I'd love to feature you. This is just part of the Party Etiquette.
Please remember to turn off word verification. I've tried leaving comments that didn't go through. I'm sure others have tried also.

2013: The Year in Review
Like so many of you, I wanted to take a minute to look back on 2013. It's not been an easy year for my husband or myself healthwise, but sharing some of the highlights with these posts make it all the more precious. There are so many major changes coming just after the New Year, but I'll be sharing them in depth later next week. We have a move (or two) on the horizon. After eleven years, we know it's time to sell and find a home that's easier to maintain. We've been praying about this for over 2 years, but things fell into place quickly once we stepped out in faith. We're in good spirits and feel confident this is the right direction, but it doesn't mean it will be easy. Tears have been shed, and many memories were revisited this last week, as our kiddos know they won't be here for any more Christmases or Holidays...more on this later; for now enjoy a few posts from my last year.

What I Would Have Missed
I debated whether to just jump in the middle of it, but I decided there must be too many wonderful moments to miss. I'm so glad I took the time to watch. This post is my 2 Season's Catch -up of Downton Abbey.
Fairytale Inspiration for Spring

Make Your Own Vintage Seedbox
I love and have several antique seed boxes, but I got to thinking about how you could make your own for just a few dollars. Many of you tried your own, and created some beauties.
I had Spring fever and thought I'd try my hand at a tablescape inspired by the Spring Garden.

I finally had had enough of my manufacturer's yucky tabletop finish on the kitchen table. So ASCP came to the rescue.

Thank you all for being such a constant support with your prayers and friendship this last year. You will never, ever know how much I love you all, and would like to meet each one of you personally and give you a big 'ol hug. I'll share more next week. I'll still be blogging, but things may change a little. I consider this blog a reflection of who I am and where I am in life, not just some pretty white decor. Stick with me, we have some changes coming, but I'll still be here. Now excuse me while I find a kleenex...
