Mid-Summer Entry with Blue and White Transferware Tureen

Hi Friends, I know many of you are "Blue and White" collectors with gorgeous dishware, ginger jars, and amazing decorative Chinoiserie pieces. I admire it and love that elegant and traditional design "look", but I've just never started a collection of it. I think it's gorgeous in the summer when I love using Blue and White accessories. I've stuck to the Browns, Reds and Green patterns in transferware, but I do have one piece that I totally stumbled upon years ago at a flea market for just a few dollars.

Early Summer Entry with Bovine Beauties

Despite the gray, rainy weather (and poor light) I wanted to share my late Spring/early Summer entry. Late May is the perfect time to decorate using lovely lush pastel Hydrangeas with a hint of summer that's on the way.

Vintage Inspiration Friday #22 Morning Tea and Romance

The sun decided to make an appearance today,
so what better place to have tea than in the sunroom!

I brought out my new sterling silver tray that I received from my sis for Christmas, (yep, she's one great sister!) and a pretty pink floral Staffordshire teapot, cup and saucer, and journal to start the day.

I've been putting a few new pendant pieces together for Valentine's Day.
 Lots of hearts and cupids...

and of course some blinged keys.

I love graphics from the 20's and 30's,
and found these sweet little postcards last weekend at Spring Creek.

For anyone local, I'm now selling my jewelry at Inspirational Home
and my booth at Spring Creek, in Ozark.

I've just listed these in my Etsy Store, The Petite Boutique
and have a few more designs in the works.
I'm lovin' these little Puffy Hearts!

Be sure and Grab the button for the
 Valentine's Day Party
here at Vintage Inspiration Friday, February 11.

And for some fun from last weeks posts:

Has it lived a Prior Life?

I ran over to Lezlee's a little while ago,
and found out she is having a party!

Uh huh, a
And we're all invited.

Lezlee's livin' up to her name and asking people to share
objects that they use that once had a "prior life",
or was used for something different than what it is now.

The first thing that came to mind was my sweet little
 Staffordshire Commode.

Now, I have to admit that it IS at home in the bathroom.
But now used for extra t-p and soap.

I"ll refrain from any blatant bathroom humor,
except to say,
it DOES have a large crack on it's bottom.

Now, go visit Lezlee and see what you have to share
that might have had a Prior Life!

If you haven't seen my post on "Tattered Treasures"
a new store in Lebanon, Missouri,
please scroll down to the next post.

Have a great weekend,
love,
Debra
