Tweaking a Seed Box Display for Thanksgiving

A few weeks ago I put together a fun late October seed box display on the farm table in the Garden Room. I've really enjoyed it and wanted to keep the basic elements, but give it a re-boot for Thanksgiving. It was an easy fix with just a few pieces.

I've enjoyed this view into the Garden Room this last few months of the fall season. The old ice cream bucket is a favorite large vessel for flower arrangements, because it can handle a lot of branches and flowers that could be overwhelming someplace else.

Here is the late October version with crows. So all I did was remove them, add some strategically placed turkeys and a great little vintage cookie tin to bring it into November and Thanksgiving.

The ice cream bucket is filled with faux oak leaves, pear branches, fall hydrangeas, sunflowers and natural stick from my yard which I have a never ending supply.

The little bark wheelbarrow was found at a floral supply store, which I love for the rustic garden look.

Old garden tools and my orange/pink garden gloves add a fun burst of color, while pheasant feathers add a bit of pizzazz to the turkey planter.

Here are a couple of Thanksgiving Seed Box displays
from year's past that I hope you'll check out...

This one from 2013 and our first blogging house.
