Friends, wow, I almost forgot to share pics of my Thanksgiving mantel. I like to keep a visual diary of what I do each year but I've been in a bit of chaos with packing away "fall" and transitioning to more Christmas décor.
Actually I had two versions of Thanksgiving this year. (I know, I like to change things up frequently) First I did the pheasants and duck planters that I love for November, but I ordered something new for the Christmas mantel and got all excited and changed things up before realizing Thanksgiving in the Hearth Room was a no show here.
This wreath is my favorite of all time, so I always hate to take it down when fall and Thanksgiving are over.
Adding in a few smaller trees makes it feel a bit more like Christmas and I love the combination of greenery and woodsy elements with the lights.
The orange and black Buffalo Check pillow covers also came from Amazon a few years ago. They are so fun to add in to the October décor. We bought the Pendleton Camp blanket years ago and enjoy it throughout the winter months.

Debra, I love the pheasants with wreath look! It's kinda sad to be putting away fall because it's really in its prime insofar as the feelings of cozy come. Leaves are falling everywhere, true, but it's still beautiful outside. Your deer, though, will be great for both fall and Christmas [winter]. I have both pheasants and deer in brass too, and love the fact that because they're metal, they are so easy to store! Happy Thanksgiving, friend. My tree's been in place almost a week now, but I'm taking my good ole time decorating this year.
ReplyDeleteLooks so pretty. Wishing you a very Happy and Cozy Thanksgiving. Hugs. Kris
ReplyDeleteIt's terrific, Debra. And that wreath over the mirror? Spectacular! Happiest of Thanksgivings!
