Woodsy Cloche for Spring and Easter
A few weeks ago I put together a post with Spring and Easter cloche inspiration. My personal favorites always include not only a focal point, but surrounded with some kind of botanical element like florals, grapevine, bird nests, or moss. Figural elements such as rabbits, lambs, dishes, and graphics are always a beautiful way to create a small vignette and elevate it to visual importance.

Rabbits Run Wild at All About Home #189
Hi Everyone, thanks for coming by. Thankfully we're back to more normal March weather. Still ups and downs but it's been above freezing at night. My forsythia bushes are still alive, but the blooms were knocked out, so none of those brilliant yellow flowering branches, except for the faux ones in my decor. On a family note we were able to spend a fun evening with our sweet little granddaughter and her mommy and daddy. We had been waiting until her vaccinations kicked in for a proper visit. It was great!

Easter on the Farmtable and Vintage Ephemera
Hi Friends, I thought I'd share a quick refresh for Easter out on the farmtable, and a sweet little vintage card that reminds me of Easter graphics from when I was little in the late 50's. Yes, truly vintage!

Easter to Spring Hearth Room Mantel
Last Christmas I found a wonderful framed grainsack with a French sheep motif, and I fell in love. I knew it would be a piece I could use throughout the year, especially Christmas and Easter. As it goes, I've left it up on the mantel throughout the winter and just transitioned my mantel with changeups using topiaries, lanterns and evergreen branches.

Hello Spring at All About Home #188
Hey Everyone! Wow, it's been reaaaaaallllly cold this last week! I mean in the mid-teens overnight and feels more like January than March. Hopefully this coming week is going to be warmer, so we can ditch these horrible night time temps. My massive Tulip tree that covers most of the drive has been decimated this season right as all the amazing pink/lavender blooms were opening. My robins are back in town and they are shivering in their little booties. At this point I'm ready for April and Easter to show up.

An Easter Brunch Buffet and Cloche Inspiration
Hi there friends, today I'm sharing a chunk of Easter inspiration, because Easter will be here in just a few short weeks. I've been blogging for about 14 years and have a few Spring and Easter posts in the archive that I hope are still current and relevant. I was concentrating on ideas for Easter cloches, so I thought I'd share this one specifically, because it contains 3 versions of an Easter cloche.

Green and Pink and Cottage All Over
Hey Everyone, Green is my favorite color this time of year. Not only outside, but inside. We're having a small "green-up" around here with grass and a few blooming trees, but my tulip tree's blooms were frozen this last few days which is really disheartening. It's still too early for much other green outdoors, but inside I can gather some of my green items and make myself feel like Spring is just around the corner... with no overnight freezes.

March Decor and Recipes at All About Home #187
Hey Everyone, I guess we all have "fallen forward" this weekend. If you're like me it takes me a minute to get myself adjusted. I'm like our sweet little kitties, who just couldn't understand why their feeding time was now being delayed. We're still on the yo-yo weather pattern with temps up and down and nighttime freeze warnings coming up. Welcome to life in Missouri in early March.

Vintage Market Spring Displays
Hi Friends, I thought I'd share a quick post with some Spring-y inspiration from my latest trip to my favorite vintage market in town, The Vintage Peddler. I've taken you there before, so I'll also share a few pics from my last year's spring visit, too. These were with my phone (old) and no natural light, but you can see some of the amazing vintage displays. Love that old wheelbarrow...

16 Creative Easter Ideas and My Moss Covered Cross
Hi Friends, today I'm joining in with 15 other blogging pals for some great ideas and inspiration for Easter decorating. Easter will be here April 9th and I know that now's the time to start thinking about decorating and tablescapes. It's going to sneak up on us being earlier in April, so it will be here before we know it! A special thanks to our friend Rachel from The Ponds Farmhouse for putting this fun group together.

Spring Traditions at All About Home #186
Hi Friends, this week was my Birthday week, and our older daughter and her fiancé came down for a quick visit and dinner out. The weather is on an upward trend toward nicer days and warmer temps, but typical first week of March... 30 to 75 degrees and back, in just a few days. Of course we'll have some cooler weather up and down till the beginning of May. Several days of outside work improved the looks of the yard (thankyou hubby!) And a visit from our new goosey friend for the kids to enjoy. These aren't my pics, because I haven't been able to get a good one of him. He's larger than his Canadian Geese friends, with different markings, and very handsome. He and his mate (regular Canadian goose) come by at least once a day to visit and snack on birdseed.
Easter Inspiration in the French Country Dining Room
Hello Everyone, are you thinking ahead for Easter? I've been decorating for St. Patrick's Day, but it's time for also getting in gear for Easter. It's early this year and I'm looking through past posts to gather some ideas for this year. Here's a post from last year's Dining Room with some bunny fun!

Bring on the Green in the Holiday Cupboard
March always sees the green transferware show up in the Holiday Cupboard, since St. Patrick's Day is my unofficial start to (early) Spring. And it's my birthday month too, so I make it a fresh start after a long cold and dreary winter. When I first started collecting green transferware I thought I'd be limited in displaying them. But now they come out in late February and stick around through Spring and early Summer until July 4th decorating.
