Merry Christmas in the Candlelit Entry

Hello dear Friends, I just wanted to come by to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!! This year we have a new little member of the family so it's an extra special time for all of us. Our first grandbaby has arrived and we're all thrilled.

Today I just wanted to share the Entry and Front Porch since that hasn't been shared yet. The Entry is the prettiest when in candlelight. So the white faux cedar wreath with a church luminary is aglow.

An Outdoors Greeting

It's been so cold I was never able to get out to get pics of the front porch. We've had below 0 temps the last few days with wind chills in the negative teens. So being outside with wind hasn't been fun. It's all I can do to keep the bird feeders full. We put up the star from last year's back porch display in the front. It looks so bright and pretty at night from the street.

Faux evergreens and holly fill the wicker door basket with a printed burlap ribbon.

Have a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day,
as we celebrate the birth of our Saviour.
Hugs and Blessings from our house to yours...

Here's my last post in case you missed it.

  1. Beautiful entryway and porch Debra! I think the entry would look beautiful through January. I also shared a (faux) candlelight Christmas Eve post. Just sitting here being thankful we have electricity cause baby, it's cold outside! Getting ready to make some bird feed for the hungry and cold birds that keep huddling against our windows. We got about a 2 inches of snow that hasn't melted, so we are having a little bit of a white Christmas here. Roads are bad so staying inside through the holiday. Hope you stay warm and safe, and once again, congratulations on the new little bundle of joy!

    1. We've been feeding the birds and squirrels this last several days a lot. We have several inches of snow and the squirrels are so spoiled, we'll have 8 or 10 at a time hogging all the seed! Stay warm, it's been brutal outside!!
