I have this little cabinet niche here in the kitchen that I think was originally created for a TV/sound system by the former owners of our house. But I prefer a smaller TV on the counter, so we were left with either using it as display shelving or try to match existing cabinetry. I could use it as open shelving by adding another set of shelves, but I chose to leave it as "was" and just make a spot for seasonal kitchen display.
I keep this sweet little French milkmaid print here all year, so whatever holiday or season, she overlooks it all. I have this very old ironstone pitcher with "Virginia" stamped on the bottom, filled with faux eucalyptus sitting on two old books. A French figural covered tureen of a hen from the 90's, and my old antique white scales with a faux pumpkin on top.
Nothing fancy, just a fun little shelf for some Fall goodies.
Just in case you'd like to take a peek at my kitchen you can see it here; A Merry Little Christmas in the Kitchen 2021. And a post from 2020 in the Fall Kitchen.
Hope you'll come by the link party on Monday evenings.

Oh Debra what a great place to decorate. I can see each holiday done up so pretty in the niche. Your fall looks beautiful. Happy Sunday. Have a good week. xoxo Kris
ReplyDeleteIt's a fun spot to do just a little decorating. Just a touch of the season. Hope you're having a wonderful weekend! xo
DeleteI love to decorate niches. That's a great fall look, love that little pumpkin Limoges (is it?).
ReplyDeleteIt's so sweet and looks like Limoges, but it's just a Hallmark piece. I'd had one before we moved this last time, but somehow it was packed in a separate box. Anyway I replaced it last year on Etsy, I think. Glad to have one back.
DeleteOh, Debra I had to laugh at your comment. Um, how about the juicer (2 kinds-never used) an apple peeler, every gadget that attaches to my inherited Kitchen Aide mixer---every doodad that strikes his fancy...Lord save us from a retired man with a debit card...LOL. Very cute niche, but Fall is your time of year!!! Hugs, Sandi
ReplyDeleteLOL, so true!!! xo
DeleteThis is just beautiful! I am visiting from Linda's link-up. Many blessings to you this autumn season!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty fall niche! I hear you about the kitchen appliances/gadgets -- my husband is the cook (fabulous cook; not retired) and our counters are COVERED with stuff -- drives me crazy! Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm. xo Kathleen
