All About Home #160: Let's Celebrate September

Happy Labor Day, and Welcome to the
All About Home Link Party!

Let me tell you, I'm thrilled to have changed that calendar page over to September!!! This has been one whopper of a summer and we've finally had some rain and lower temps. Our grass has even greened up and had a little growing spurt. I'm not a fan of hot weather so I'm usually over summer by the end of July. Not to say I don't enjoy the wonderful summer months, I just need to live somewhere where summer isn't all about the drought and scorch.
Thanks so much for coming by each week and sharing the fun things you're up to. Now, after Labor Day we can have some great Autumn DIYS, decor, and recipes.

Amber and I are excited to be hosting this weekly party
 that celebrates All Things Home.
We love to see what you're up to on Your blogs,
so please join in and share your inspiration.

Last week I shared my Kick off to Fall in the Kitchen China Cupboard that's out in the Garden Room and an inspiration post about Fall Urns. I love, love any type of vintage urn (or look-alike) and try to do at least one interpretation each Fall season. You can go crazy over-the-top or just keep it simple.

Amber shared a gorgeous post with lots of beautiful inspiration for

When September arrives it's easy to get right into pumpkin mania. We had so many great posts this last week that were All About Fall. Here's a fun post about making several great DIY wooden pumpkins, and also how to refresh faux pumpkins with realistic paint techniques. Also a gorgeous "how-to create" a fall front porch channeling Pottery Barn and a Pumpkin Cheesecake in a Jar!

  2. Debra, pumpkin mania hasn't hit here just yet, but I did set a fall tablescape for tomorrow's Fall Tablescape Blog Hop. Hope you'll stop by. Love your fall details in the cupboard and the post on the urns was very inspiring. Makes me want to pull out what is in my front porch urns and start fresh. Happy Labor Day! Thanks for hosting.
