Hello friends and Welcome to the
All About Home Link Party!
Well, I'm not going to sugar coat it, this is my least favorite time of the year. Too hot, too dry. Working outside is impossible unless you want to risk a heat stroke. By mid July my brain is fried and wandering toward Autumn and cooler temps. I know many of us are feeling it too. I'll try not to complain... August will look better as we slide toward the more moderate temps of early Fall. In the meantime, (insert happy face) we can all share what we're doing, have a good dose of inspiration, and enjoy beautiful pics of vacations and DIY projects. How about you all?... are you gangbusters this time of year or is it just me?
Thankyou all so much for coming by each week to share your lives and homes.
I love seeing all your great ideas and beautiful inspiration!
Amber and I are excited to be hosting this weekly party
that celebrates All Things Home.
We love to see what you're up to on Your blogs,
so please join in and share your inspiration.
I've been putting away all my patriotic and July 4th decor, bringing out more "summer" related vintage pieces, including putting together a new front porch door basket and bringing out some deeper darker late summer colors. Once the 4th is in the rear view mirror, I start thinking about late summer and gearing toward more of a harvest feel in color and decor accessories. This week I shared a few pics from the archives of my formal living room that rarely gets shown here on the blog. It's our comfy, a bit boring, spot where we relax. I also like to bring out the pottery and Majolica which have deeper, darker, richer summer color. This restyle of the Holiday Cupboard is one of my favorite summer looks.
Amber is sharing the start and her ideas and inspiration for her Garden Shed.
Knowing Amber and her wonderful design ability I know it will be amazing!

I dearly love that majolica, Debra. I'm sorry it's not cooler for you. Today we were in the high 60s. It might have hit 70 but hard to tell. So, I wouldn't mind a bit more! But I'm sure the humidity where you are is intense!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting and sharing all the great ideas! Summer is my least favorite too, Debra! Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the feature. I so appreciate you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting! UGH--we have been having record breaking high temps of 100+ degrees in Texas. Stay cool!
ReplyDeleteHi Debra! I love your party and I always enjoy seeing your lovely decorating. Thank you so much for the kind words of encouragement. I really appreciate you more than you know.
ReplyDeleteDebra I find so much inspiration in your pages. That Moira clock and lovely french chair are just darlin! pinned
