Hi Friends, are you all digging out of the latest snow and ice storm like we are?
We had a big blast of ol' man winter come through last Wednesday and Thursday with a layer of ice and then about 8-9 inches of snow on top. We stayed in and I had to postpone a doctor's appointment, but other than that we managed to keep our power and no ice damage (that we know of). Valentine's Day is definitely "winter" around here so in my Valentine decor I still have out some evergreen and bottle brush trees mixed in.
You know me, I like to move things around while taking pics
so it's musical "pieces" on the bench/coffee table.
A fun little bird pillow cover, from Elliott Heath Designs
and taupe buffalo check pillows are on the Pottery Barn quilt.
little stack of decoupaged paper nesting hearts from the 80's.
I also displayed a few vintage Valentine's on the baker's rack
in the little antique spice cabinet drawers.
Here's a pretty little Valentine's Day vignette from last year.
Happy Weekend, stay warm and well!
We hope you'll come by Monday evening for the party.

I love your vignettes and of course, you know I love your lambs! I'm thinking of doing an arrangement of my pastoral framed prints in my family room. I think you have some similar ones of your own. I also love your vintage Valentine cards! If I had saved mine from childhood they'd sure qualify as vintage!
ReplyDeleteHope all is healthy and happy in your world, Debra! ❤️

Hi Jane, I'd love to see that arrangement of pastoral prints when you do it. Sounds amazing! A long time ago I ran across my uncle's school valentine's from the early 20's in an old box of my grandmother's. So fun. Nothing like everything from our childhood now being classified as "vintage". Happy Sunday, friend!
DeleteSweet, sweet vignettes. I love the old valentines and sheep. I've bought a couple pillow covers from Elliott Heath after you'd shared them a few years back, very nice.
ReplyDeleteLuckily, we were on the warmer side of that storm this week, and got mostly rain, with just a dusting of snow-to-ice with freezing temps. So glad, and I hope yours melts quickly.
so glad you didn't get all the snow. We were just happy that we didn't get tons of ice. just a smidge, but yikes it's been cold! We had to postpone our Friday night Chinese takeaway. It's still out there, but at least the main streets are clear. I can only go without Chinese food for so long, haha.
DeleteYour sweet sheep just make me smile. Your Valentines look so pretty. Happy Sunday. Have a good week. xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi Debra! Oh, everything is just so cute and sweet! I love it all!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Your Valentine Vignettes are the cutest ever! ADORE the sheep and their sweet bows and the valentines are just magical. I feel like I've fallen into the happiest land ever and I don't want to leave!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful vignette! The white base with red accents really speaks to me.
