Hello Friends! I changed up the Entry to this Early Fall look back in late August. Honestly, I thought I better share this now before I got the itch to take it a little further into Fall. If you know me well, you'll know my rooms make multiple transitions from one season to another.
I'm using fallish hydrangeas and what I guess might be called brown-eyed-susans in a mix. It's a more "gold" look than I had intended so I'll probably do a more fall leafy look next. The vintage print is a harvest print with pears, so I stuck with the pear theme on the console by using my three concrete pears. I love the black vintage frame and think it just sets off the print. The pumpkins are waiting to come and hang out with my next restyle.
A cottage look vintage postcard in the brass floating frame added a bit more color.
I'm not a "blue" person, but I love warm blues like turquoise and robin's egg blue.
This is the time of year that my front door gets to stand out
in all it's orange/bittersweet glory.
I've been working little by little to get the front porch transitioned to early Fall. I found mums and a few pumpkins so that's my start. The gray wash wicker basket is filled with sunflowers, hydrangeas, and a few fall leaves.
On the opposite wall from the console
I have my little petite French dresser.
This Hurricane candle holder with a marble base
is so heavy I can't lift it myself.
So once it's put somewhere...
it stays there.
Last year's Fall Entry

ReplyDeleteI love your entry. So pretty for fall. Laura
ReplyDeleteHi Debra! Oh, I love your pretty entry and of course you've made it beautiful for Fall! I'm so jealous that you actually have two spots to decorate! Both are lovely! I like also how you've used drapes at your sidelight windows on either side of your door! That big urn is so lovely and especially since you added the bow - just more pretty! Hope you've had a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
So beautiful and inviting! You have the best framed prints.
ReplyDeleteI just love your flower basket! Such a warm, and inviting entryway!
