Sometimes when pieces just "work" for a spot or space I leave them alone. That's what has happened in the Entry here at this house. I changed things up more at the previous house, but this entry is so light and bright it calls for like-minded pieces. It seems that whatever I place here tends to be a neutral color or something that doesn't overpower the basic feel of the space.
No matter the season or weather, the light is wonderful here and I can always get good photos even with the front door closed. It faces north and even though we have a large overhang on the porch, and trees out front, the mullioned side windows keep it sun filled.
I had a length of Springy-green and cream toile wired ribbon
to also dress it up a bit.
My vintage-look glass frame is holding an antique Easter postcard.
It's perfect for displaying vintage postcards and ephemera.
I found this print with a linen liner at one of my
fave boutiques here in town.
I've been using it for Spring since I bought it.
Here is last year's Spring Entry.
With many of the same elements.
Whoops, he's been caught with the carrots.
My itty bitty bunny on a cabbage Majolica plate.
Here is the Easter Entry after we first moved here in 2019.
You can read about how this beautiful
Hard to believe that April will be here next week!
I'm definitely ready for the warmer weather and
to see that beautiful green haze in the tree branches.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
We hope you'll come by Monday evening at 6:00 Central.

I love the light in your entry on that console and all the vintage lovelies. The majolica bunny plate is adorable, the frame unique and, of course, the sheep print fabulous. The urn with the paperwhites is very springy! We are having a fabulous show of spring blooms here in our region, and I hope you get to see much the same!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Debra! Very light and airy and of course, springy. Is springy even a word??? I don't know but it seems perfect to describe your entry. I love the little splashes of color from the egg and the majolica plate. It comes together just perfectly. Have a great week and a beautiful Easter!
ReplyDeleteDebra, it all looks beautiful together and it certainly says Spring. The mirror, commode and lamp are the perfect choice for every season to stand out. Happy Spring and stay well..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteDebra, you photos are always beautiful! The majolica bunny plate is a charming piece. Isn't it fun when we find these pieces? Have a great week ahead and Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteDebra this beautiful and love this spot in your home. Your bunny on the Majolica plate is so pretty. A great piece to have too.
ReplyDeleteHave a great start to your week!
Cindy
This is lovely, and just PRETTY! Have a great week, Sandi
ReplyDeleteWell I learned something new today. I know what wattle is now! Love yours made with grapevine. Great idea to keep those gorgeous paperwhites from flopping over. Your entry is perfectly spring. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see the different years of the entry. They're all pretty.
ReplyDeleteThe paperwhites are perfect in the urn!
ReplyDeleteYou have the most wonderful spring and Easter decor. I love that green toile ribbon!
ReplyDeleteYou are so talented, Debra! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your beautiful Easter decor! You make such lovely displays and this Easter one is spectacular! Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteThat urn is to die for! Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm. xo Kathleen
ReplyDeleteI agree with the comment above, your urn is stunning!!! I love your lamb print and probably comment on it each year, Debra. ;) Such a pretty display, and actually, you and several others (particularly Amber) use paperwhites a lot in spring displays. I caught the bug for them last year and have been on the hunt ever since! I found some at Judith from Botanic Bleu's Christmas sale this past December and bought a small bunch. They happily sit in a little blue and white Chinoiserie planter bowl and I just need to use some chickenwire to keep them in and add some moss to hide it all. ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy almost spring and I am happy to feature your post at this evening's Share Your Style #338 for you. <3
Many hugs,
Barb :)
The blooming paperwhites are lovely, and the addition of the grapevine wattle is both attractive and functional. The different shades of white along with the muted green touches work well together in this sunny spot.
