Hi Friends, how's your March coming along?
It's my Birthday month and a transitional time for spring inspiration.
I'm slowly but surely getting some spring things out
and it's lifting my spirits after a long winter.
My big Italian metal basket is back on the Dining Room table.
Spring-y hydrangeas and ivy are the base for whatever else
might be added as the seasons change.
I added my little French-y goat cart in gray to the tableau on the table,
with my lamb tureen nestled in a mossy green wreath.
One of my iron urns is filled with faux paperwhites
tied with a brown check wired ribbon.
I like to keep the bottom of the wagon lined with a bed of moss.
It's a pretty way to keep things grounded and organic.
I have a beautiful Waverly green floral toile table runner
that I always used for early spring.
But now at this house it's not where the others are stored,
so I'm hoping it has just been mistakenly packed in a storage box.
I opted for this light neutral floral instead.
Not many spring colors but still works.
The little wagon was originally black
but I painted it French Gray in spring a few years ago
and I'm so glad I did.
Now it blends in so much better.
After Christmas I gathered a few little lambs
and used them under cloches on the buffet.
At that time they were accessorized with pinecones and greenery.
I like the look,
so I decided to just change out the florals
for a spring-y look.
A few pieces of tarnished silver serving dishes
help elevate the little lamby vignettes.
Nothing like the light shining through the glass cloches
to see the dust. Yuk. Sorry.
I cleaned these off a week ago but you sure can't see it!
... sweet little lamb faces.
I can never get enough no matter the season.
I wanted to keep the Dining Room more low-key "spring"
so this decor could stay put for a bit,
and save the Easter decor for the Garden Room.
I'll be sharing the rest of the Dining Room soon.
Be sure and come back Saturday when I'm joining a group
for a "Dishes" Hop!
Can you even imagine what that will include?
I know it will be very diverse and tons of fun!
Hope you're having a great week!
Hope to see you Monday evening at 6:00 central.

Very inviting, Debra. I share that love of the lambs with you. The moss liner in the wagon makes a good base. So far I've only add a few florals throughout the condo, and changed out several pillow covers and prints. It felt like a big deal as I was pulling things out and putting things away!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your vignettes, regardless of the season! Your spring décor is lovely!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Debra, and I didn't use my hydrangeas for spring for the first time in two years.
ReplyDeleteI love your table and wagon. I enjoy using miss for spring through summer.
Your cloches are so pretty! Waiting for warmer days.
Cindy
Hi Debra, The cloche with the delicate flowers and lambs is really a wonderful arrangement!
ReplyDeleteHi Debra...love your arrangements, but really loving your dining room chair covers for Spring. What a great way to lighten up the room, that isn't permanent. I'm never going to be on board with all white, and this is a great seasonal solution! Hugs, Sandi
ReplyDeleteYour lambs are so sweet. I love the tureen. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteAs usual your vignette is lovely and I love every one of those lambs! Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm. xo Kathleen
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! Love those sweet little lambs under the cloche!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty look for spring. The wagon is darling and the way you decorated it, is so pretty. Love the lambs. Such pretty arrangements and those cloches are beautiful. I am happy to share your French Country Spring look at Love Your Creativity. Happy spring.
ReplyDeleteLove your table centerpiece and those cloche mini lambs are so lovely! Happy Birthday! ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful arrangements! The greenhouse-like structure is my favorite
ReplyDeleteIt's such a treat to see your spring vignettes and I love lambs in the cloches! I'm happy to feature your post this week at the Tuesday Turn About Link Party and hope to see you there!
ReplyDeleteI love your beautiful, cheerful spring decor, Debra. It makes me so happy to think that spring is almost here, and posts like yours remind me of that. I love all of the pretty touches, and the gray color works so well with the basket. Thanks so much for sharing at Thursday Favorite Things.
