Late Spring Into Summer on the Baker's Rack

I shared a couple of pics of the Baker's Rack the week I got home from the hospital last month, but I just realized I hadn't done a post with the rest of it. Actually, I was tinkering around with Patriotic pieces when I stopped and thought about the fact late Spring/early Summer had totally missed out.

I've already changed out the wicker settee and coffee table/bench for July 4th, but here it is with the pastel vintage tumbling blocks quilt that was there for Easter into May. So just think of this post as an entry into my yearly seasonal Blog Journal. I like to keep track of how I decorate for each season, and this was a missing piece. 

I did something new this "late Spring" and brought out my

 French Faience for the Holiday Cupboard.

I wanted to focus on Birds, Butterflies, and Garden elements

here on the Baker's Rack.

This is my little Garden Girl Lamp that finally

 got a paint update a few weeks ago.

I made several of these paper bird collages back in my early blogging days.

Paper collage was the artsy trend, so I gave it a try with an old "Birds of the World"

book, old dictionary pages and empty photo holders from an antique album.
