This black and white grass covered bunny nestled himself in this grapevine basket at our last house. Easter usually features pastels, but with this bunny I could use a few more vibrant colors like the orange-y coral tulips and the carrots.
He's sitting in the vintage crate/tray that I've been using here on the table.
It's so easy to grab this crate and use it to anchor a vignette or corral a grouping,
giving it a little more weight.
I found a spot for the ceramic cabbage covered veggie tureen,
along with the tray. I had all my goodies out and it didn't seem to have a specific spot.
So it's still here on the table.
I love illustrated cards from antique bookplates,
and bought this one just for the graphic.

When I added the card I also added one of the decorated eggs from a
Jeanne d'Arc Living inspired Easter post from several years ago.

This is such a lovely arrangement. May you and your family stay well.
ReplyDeleteDebra,
ReplyDeleteLike your "house shopping" bunny basket centerpiece!
He looks adorable!
I, too, had a cabbage tureen.
It was gifted to me in the 70's.
The original ceramic set was destroyed during one of our Military moves.
I found another at a local Antique Shop in the 90's.
This year, I loaded the cabbage tureen up and carted it off to Goodwill.
Hoping someone there was as excited to find it as I once was!
I'll be watching for the Parade of Easter decor, coming soon!

So very cute!! Love the cabbage tureen too.
ReplyDeleteOoh, that bunny is cute! The tureen is perfectly positioned. Looks like the bunny is reaching toward it. :) And that graphic is sweet enough to frame. See you tomorrow, looking forward to more happy!
