A few weeks ago I was admiring a post from Angie at Postcards from the Ridge and fell in love with a vintage paper garland she had purchased from Etsy a few years ago. Now, I don't want to be labeled a "copy cat", but I went right to the Etsy Shop, LaCasaMia, and ordered one for myself. I DO love vintage ephemera and paper collage pieces, so I was so excited to see it arrive a few days ago all the way from Belgium.
I found the perfect spot in the Dining Room on my vintage mirror with my little French Girl on the antique washstand. I hadn't decorated this spot for Valentine's Day, as I'd been waiting for this perfect heart garland to appear.
with layered vintage print and lovely rose paper.
This little corner spot right off the kitchen is one I see multiple times a day,
and always enjoy displaying a little seasonal/holiday vignette.
I think it's so very sweet so I'll leave it out for the rest of the month.
It's the perfect accompaniment to this precious little face.
We've been in the teens this week with light snow,
so I think a cozy night at home with takeout and a movie with my hubby
is the best way to spend a comfy Valentine's Day.
Have a wonderful Valentine's Day weekend with your sweethearts!
*this isn't a sponsored post,
just sharing the lovely little garland I found.
Hope to see you next Monday evening.

Hi Debra. That is the sweeetest valentine string. So delicate and precious and very pretty. I can see how you would love seeing it everyday. I love your idea of a Happy Valentine's Day. Mine was pretty much the same with a trip to Trader Joe's for groceries and red tulips, dinner at In-and-Out Burger with our dogs and a movie on Netflex. A perfect way to spend Valentine's Day in my opinion..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute.
ReplyDeleteI made a similar one a few years ago and now I'm wondering what I did with it.
How pretty and romantic! Such detail, I love it! Hope you had a great V-Day. We're expecting a big snow storm in the Chicago area starting tomorrow - ugh. Oh well, that's what we get for living in the midwest:) Can't wait for spring. Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm. Pinned! xo Kathleen
ReplyDeleteLove this. That mirror is gorgeous.
