Out and About: Spring Market Open House

It's been awhile since I've been out vintage shopping, and I've been missing the fun. One of my favorite spots is The Vintage Peddler, here in Springfield, Missouri. Each time I visit I try to snap some pics for you all. It's always changing up because it has some of the best vendors in the area. That means "buy it when you see it", because it may not be there tomorrow.

I wanted to be able to make the Spring Shop Hop this weekend, and see my wonderfully talented friends Sara and Abbey from Sweet Magnolias Farm. Many of you know Sara and Abbey from their participation in Southern California Shows in the past. They moved to Missouri a few years ago, and I had intentions of getting together with them long before now, but my health junkola has kept me from making a connection.

We finally were able to get together last month and we all connected on so many different levels. I started commenting on Sara's blog waaaaay back in my earlier blogging days, so getting to finally meet in person has been a long overdue blessing.

I was so excited when they decided to open a space at The Vintage Peddler, because... well, they are just the perfect match for that market! I could spend all day telling you how talented and precious they are and still not do them justice. Sara has a fab Etsy Shop and Instagram and you just have to get acquainted with them yourself.

These have been pics of their new space, which I wish my phone did a better job of showing. But you can see all the vintage goodness. So so so wonderful!

My sis and I made the rounds twice of the store
(you have to go around at least twice to take it all in)
and had a yummy lunch in the store's newly opened cafe.

These are pics from some of the other spaces
once I finished slobbering all over Sara's and Abbey's space.
You know it's good when you just stand there and ooooh and ahhhh over it all.

I haven't been out for awhile,
so needless to say I bought some goodies.

I'll share what I bought soon,
it included some more Brown Transferware and
a few concrete items which I couldn't resist.

Have a fun weekend.
Go find a vintage store and go crazy.
... You have my permission!

    1. I heard someone say, "but you have to go the opposite direction the second time with a different view, cause you might miss it otherwise." and I had to laugh because it's true. I talk so much that I miss stuff. so I need to be quiet and not blab so much! we were there for 3 hours, tehe.

  4. Debra, I love the store's vendor displays, but even more am excited you're out & about with your sister, having some fun! I know your health has been a major factor, but that move would knock a healthy person down (I know firsthand!), and your timing gives me a ray of sunshine for days ahead. So glad you were able to connect with the Sweet Magnolia Farm girls!

    1. You're right Rita, it's been a long haul with this move and renovation. We have a contract on our house and the realtor jokingly said he'd found us another house with more sq footage on the main level. He got a dirty look from me, haha. We're all looking forward to pics of your new place!
