I have a few vintage favorite pieces I've used for Valentine's for years.
I mix and match and move them around each year, and this year
I'm using my vintage ceramic mold here as an accent on the Dining Room Table.
My old oval Cupid tin is here on the Entry Console.
There aren't any markings on it, but I know it's really old.
I found this little XOXO plaque at Michaels this year.
I thought the "old" mixed with the "new" was interesting.
Love the color.
We had dinner out Saturday night at my favorite Mexican spot,
so we're home tonight.
what about you...
Do you have big plans for this evening?
do tell!

The tray is gorgeous! And perfect for the day. We went out with friends on Saturday, so I will consider that my Valentine's dinner. Today was supposed to be rainy, so we didn't make plans. The rain, however, is done this morning, but I will still be making hubby his favorite plate of spaghetti instead of trying to find a table with the rest of the lovers who are going out tonite. Have a LOVE-ly day.

ReplyDeleteLove the ceramic mold. I'd love to know more about this piece. I've never seen one that was painted. Do you know the history of this piece?
As always, I love looking at your pretties that you post. We celebrated early and had a romantic dinner for two outside by my fishing pond and ended with a fire for a chilly night. My kind of romancing. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
