Just wanted to drop by and say Hello with my little vintage friend.
She's a Czechoslovakian Bird Vase probably from the 1930's or 1940's.
She lost her little beak a long time ago,
but she's so sweet, we won't let that bother us.
Variegated Lantana from my containers on the deck,
bring some brilliant Summer color.
I'm going to start capturing a few "snapshots" of daily "joy".
I need to be reminded to take notice of and be thankful for,
small pleasures.
Let the little things in life brighten your day.
Hope you're having a wonderful weekend.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! My mom has something similar and I've always loved it.
ReplyDeleteShe's adorable! You're so right to take time to appreciate life's little treasures, Debra. My roses bloomed and I never even cut one to bring indoors! Maybe there's a new one waiting for me today. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea…i brightened today by a clear blue sky, the sound of water in the pond, and the flowers that surround me…i hope your weekend is wonderful
ReplyDeleteOh, isn't she lovely?
ReplyDeleteBy the way I never did tell you that I really love your header - it's just awesome.
It stopped raining, life is good. HOT, but good. Hugs.
Cute! I'm glad a missing beak didn't deter you from displaying it. Little things like that add character.
