I'm going to try to refrain from screaming, but for some crazy reason they are predicting cold weather again for the remaining of the week, with a chance of snow on Friday. Can you believe it? I guess there will be some of you out there trying to hold back with me. what's up with this? Glad I haven't invested in tons of flowers yet...evidently being behind this year may work in my favor!
OK, enough of the mini-rant...

ReplyDeleteSNOW? You poor thing! Hopefully it won't happen! High Point is within driving distance for me....I don't know WHY I have never gone. Maybe next year!
ReplyDeleteI notices your new header, too - gorgeous! Thanks for all the beautiful inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI totally understand the rant Debi - we here in Colorado are so sick of our Spring being ruined with cold and snow. Although we have been lucky to get a few days here and there nice and warm but I want to plant and I can't with snow every stinking' Tuesday. Hopefully yesterday will be the end of it. We should be grateful for the moisture which we need but it doesn't keep me from ranting - tee hee. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteI'll scream right along with you. We're going through another cold and snowy couple days here too. It seems Mr. Winter just doesn't want to go away.
ReplyDeleteSNOW! WOW! We're having rain, rain, and more rain right now. It was cold here for April last weekend but it did thunder that day in February. My Grandfather taught me when it thunders in February it will be cold in April on that same day. And it usually turns out right. Hope you have better weather soon. In Mississippi we say, If you don't like the weather today, wait tomorrow will be different! LOL! Have a blessed day.
ReplyDeleteI was planning a trip up to Clarksville Missouri on the river to their annual town wide antique textile event, and I think the Missouri rain and maybe snow will put a huge damper on the event, my friends are backing out due to sand bags and the rain
ReplyDeleteI haven't went and got my bedding plants yet, seems like last couple years it's cold for Mother's day
Here's hoping a nice sunny weekend , next week end in Missouri
Hi Debra,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for featuring my post on my romance with red! I hope you see some sunny skies soon! We've had a beautiful spring here on the island after an unusually rainy and cold winter!
Poppy
Debra,
ReplyDeleteAs a fellow Missourian... I feel your pain! I can't believe snow in May!!! It's sleeting rain right now and we expect 8" of snow tonight and tomorrow!!
I worked in the garden all weekend. I took pictures yesterday when I heard about the coming snow storm. I hope it doesn't do to much damage to my gardens.
Have a wonderful day!

Debra,
ReplyDeleteAs I watched the Weather Channel this morning, I was shaking my head when announced was 2~to~3 inches of SNOW for your area!!! It's a very cold 50 degrees here when you factor in our wind chill today on our side of the Prairie!!!
Gorgeous featured guests, dear friend!
Here's to a more permanent and steady increasing warming trend for the upcoming week!!!
Fondly,
Pat
