Here's the "Before".
I mean hey,
look at that perfect little wire hanger already attached.
and...Perfect farm-y patina potential.
One thing I love about Fall decorating is that you can grab a bunch of miscellaneous floral "leftovers" and stuff it into almost anything and it works.
Of course,
I knew it had to hang from my old chippy picket fence gate
on the sunporch.
More sunporch fun coming...
And the winner of the Tattered Goods
$40 Gift Certificate is....
congrats Pam!!!

LOVE IT Deb!!! AND I really really love that old bird cage. We had that very one when I was growing up. You've given me memories of our canaries and parakeets... I sure wish we had saved ours...
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit behind due to computer problems. I hope to be joining your parties soon.
Have a wonderful week,
Hugs,
Donna

ReplyDeleteAmazing that a chicken feeder can be so beautiful but of course with you decorating it that comes as no surprise! :-) I'm waiting until both kiddos are in school to start my fall decorating and you are getting me so inspired!
ReplyDeleteVanessa
You have such a talent for creating sweet vignettes, Debra - and this new one is so pretty! :) I so love seeing the way you style your sunroom. I think I have sunroom envy....! lol!

That is so cute and perfect on your sun porch. I love anything galvanized too.
ReplyDeleteThe chicken farmer would be clueless here BUT we are decidedly not. It is feeding me much inspiration to pay attention when I dig through old barns as I mine and Joe's habit. Love it(**
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the announcement on winning the tattered goods giveaway. I am so very excited. I have one of these feeders and I think your idea is great. Thanks for sharing..
ReplyDeleteHi, Your fall arrangement is beautiful. You are very creative...Connie
ReplyDeleteThat is super cute! I love all of that fall goodness.

So pretty. I could look at photos of your sunporch all day!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! You are always thinking out of the box, Debra.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute and what a great way to use it for seasonal decor!
ReplyDeleteAaaaaand it looks absolutely fab!!! Your porch is STUNNING! :) Congrats to the winner!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Love all your fall decorating Debra.
ReplyDeleteHow precious! Fall IS easy to decorate for. I also love how farm objects blend so well with our homes. A farmer boy once told me he could take any object at his farm and sell it at an antique store (he saw a screen door go for "$80." (!) ) KIDS! They speak the truth, right?
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I had one of those feeders in my hand at a sale, but didn't know what I would do with it. Darn! I should have bought one.
ReplyDeleteLove how you repurposed your chicken feeder! And, it looks great on the fence, too! Only you would know how to give such fun life to something like that. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHi Debra
ReplyDeleteIts beautiful now if only I can be a lucky gal a found one of those here in Cali!
Much love to you
Kate
