Traditional Home Magazine from

With the hot trend of the Union Jack showing up on dressers to pillows and everything in between, I thought this was a bold statement in design. An antique upholstered Chesterfield Sofa showing off it's colors; pretty amazing! more to come with this idea...

ReplyDeleteI Love It Debra!... I am half French and half English (English on my mama's side)... and my oldest niece lives in London now and came home for a visit over Mothers Day and my birthday... she brought me biscuits in a beautiful Queens Diamond Jubilee tin and a celebration ribbon... the photos she emails me of England and the countryside surrounding her flat are just stunning!... I also buy the British Edition of Country Living magazine each month... I think it is so much more beautiful than the American one is these days... thanks for sharing that!... will you be doing some British decorating now?... you always come up with the best things... please share if you do!... xoxo Julie Marie

ReplyDeleteWow! What a cool idea!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous sofa! Maybe I could camouflage my faded navy sofa (with its leg re-attached after the elf fiasco) with a Union Jack throw. Quite brilliant, I do say (with an English accent).
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty cool.

That is when I first went to Savannah Georgia, right after the movie Midnight In the Garden of Good & Evil came out, since Clint Eastwood was the director and they talked all About Jim Williams Christtmas parties, I just had to go see that city and have been back 3 times now
you can now tour Jim Williams house where the movie & the murder took place(murder sounds awful)
Very nice!! Love the sofa.
ReplyDeleteThe corner angles of leather sofas make it ideal to put them up against a wall if you wish to get more space from the corners of your room or add them as a centerpiece.
