A few weeks ago when I made my L-O-V-E tags, I also wanted to do a little heart tag with vintage buttons. I've been saving it for today, to wish you all a wonderful Valentine's Day.
And with the painting finished I took some pics of my hall sideboard
all dressed up for some vintage romance.
I am really enjoying having my old window hanging on the wall.
I taped up a few of my vintage Valentine postcards, too.
I found this huge vintage candy box a few years ago,
in an attic that I helped clear out.
Looks like someone got a little wet while eating some of the treats.
This last weekend I attended the Antique Festival of the Ozarks
and found this sweet little Valentine card
(and a few other things that I'll share)
Hope you have a wonderful day planned with your sweeties.

LOve all your Valentines decor. I love using old windows to decorate. When we remodeled we had to remove one of the old windows. It now sits behind me computer and is still one of my favorite pieces in my home:)

Such sweet Valentine touches ~ very special! Hope your day is sweet too!!
ReplyDeleteI love the button heart! I loaned my coffee cans filled with vintage buttons from my grandmother to a friend and never got them back. I've slowly been picking up old buttons for a few pennies each at estate sales. They add so much to artsy projects. Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful display Debra! Your paint looks wonderful and I love how the old window looks over your sideboard!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day to you and those two furred cherubs of yours ;) My favorite is the candy box - even if someone did droll all over it while eating their chocolate ;)

A dollar to a donut says those water marks were caused by tears of joy. I know I'd be crying if I received a box that big!
