A little gift arrived in the mail a few days ago. My sweet friend
Cheryl from Zany Mayd had been the winner of a necklace give away of mine last month, and just look what
she sent
me!
And you might say, "He's adorable, but he's a snowman!"
and I would say,
"Yes, He's a snowman, but just look at this!"
This little snowman just happens to have wings!
I think he must be a "snow angel".
Truly a sweet blessing;
just look at the details...
I love the hat, the scarf, the little springs for arms, (and the flower bouquet). The yarn, the fringe. The spool of thread with a jewelry embellishment!
I'm in love. I don't know if she knows that I collect "snow people", but this will be a treasured addition to the family!!
Oh, and that crooked little smile!
I love this Bible verse.
It always makes me wonder...
Hebrews 13:2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels unawares.
Thank you Cheryl,
xoxo,
I am in love too! I think I am going to have to try to make one of these!!!
ReplyDeleteSo, so cute! Love that scripture!
ReplyDeleteIts so cute!! Love all the detail!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable! And just in time to fill in a bare spot that a Christmas decoration once inhabited.
ReplyDeleteHow special! I see something like this that is so creative and wish I could think like this! Very sweet...perfect little crooked smile! ♥
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful bible verse, Debra! I like that very much ~ I may have to steal that for my blackboard as it needs something new on it. What a wonderful gift, too! Snowmen are perfect because you can have them out all winter season. I have a collection as well, although I did put mine away with the Christmas stuff yesterday.
ReplyDeleteDebra, thanks for sharing Cheryl's special gift with us. I have always loved that Bible verse, too.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday!

Those unexpected wings are swell. I think I entertained an angel once, dressed as a homeless man at church, he was treated like a dignitary of course just as any other visitor. Sadly enough he had been rejected and sent away by two other churches that day. You never know.
ReplyDeleteI love his little imperfect grin. :D
ReplyDeleteHe is very sweet! What a great treat!! Enjoy your winter buddy!!

ReplyDeleteHi Debra, Your snow angel is so adorable. Looking at other people's snow people and snow may be all that we get this year. So far we haven't had any snow, but there will be a possibility next week. My youngest grandson wants to help daddy push snow and my older two want to go sledding. I don't know if any of them will get their wish. Have a gread week. Your Missouri Friend.
