Vintage Inspiration Friday # 70 Favorite Vintage Post

Counting down the last few days of 2011 I thought we could go back over this last year and share some of our favorite "vintage" posts. If you want to share a new one that's great too. Either way, it gives us a chance to  have some fun.
The last two years I've posted my "New Year's Tree", and it still is one of my faves. The little white birdies and clockfaces hanging from bare branches speak of "time" and the wish for peace in the New Year.

And then I'd have to say setting an Outdoor Table this last October is for me the highlight of the year, staging wise. In 2010 I did a "white" table, this year I went more Gothic and dark. It was a lot of fun, but I had crows to fend off for this one!

    So sorry about your ankle. Hope your back up to speed soon. Love your New Year's tree and the Gothic table. This post of mine is last year's New Year's post. I had just been gifted this clock and I loved how it photographed for the New Year theme. It was one of my favorite vintage post. I plan to do a lot more for 2012. Hope you New Year is fantastic!     Hi Debra, I love your New Years tree! What a fun idea. I set my table with a Winter scene today. Have a new urn that I thought needed white branches. Sure would be cute to have a few clocks and birds. Maybe next year. I thought your outdoor table was wonderful when I first saw it. Still love it! Happy New Year.
