  6. Oh...my....I guess it is time....we finally got a break in the heat...only 97 today. Funny how that feels cool now after two months of 105 - 110 temps. I was just thinking it feels like fall....which is so untrue....it's just that it's been so darn hot. We even had rain last night. It was almost strange to have a change in the weather because we hadn't had any in so long.

  11. Well, that makes two of us, My Friend! Fall is my favorite season, as well. As I was out weeding the garden - in this unbearable heat today - I was wishing for fall's arrival and hoping it would decide to linger a bit longer this year. ;

    Thanks for sharing your fall inspiration.

  13. Yay, I'm excited for fall too! The only reason I want summer stay a little longer is so I can spend more time with the kids before school starts.
    I love your flowers and photos!

  14. Debra,
    The hues of Autumn are my favorite of any season! Love, love, love the Sunflowers...did I see a touch of bittersweet among the blossoms? Beautiful vignette of vintage clocks. Does this mean time is ticking away...or the arrival of Autumn?
    Fondly,
    Pat

  22. Wasn't it so nice out there today? I can see how the cool off put you in an autumn state of mind. For me, fall means school...not an entirely awful thing but I sure miss the lazy days of summer when they're gone, no matter how hot they've blazed.

  28. Good to see some fall. Yep might be mad about the weather thing. It is still hot as the bad place here in NC and so dry when I water my plants, the water sits on top.

  29. Hi Debra,-I`m back ,after the most beautiful wedding of my sweet niece. And also here,we have the feeling that autumn has already hit Denmark, with lots of rain-and low temps. Our summer have not provided much sun and vitamin -D so hopefully it will be back again :)
    Sending love and hugs,
