As we all know, there have been monkeys in our blogs since yesterday.
Long story short, this post was lost.
First text,
then photos...
and all links to the party.
So I'm giving another shot at a linkup party for
Vintage Inspiration Friday
we'll see what happens.
I'm putting on my happy, smiley face right now.
Can you see it?
lots of love
and gnashing of teeth...
Debra!

Your home is lovely! I adore that little dish with the birdies. I had not heard the term Japanese Majolica before but definately need to investigate further since I have some pieces that I think fall into that category. I never thought of them as majolica since they were made in Japan. Who knew! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI've always loved Majolica, and Debra your collection is so charming. Not to mention the gorgeous photo of your room. Thanks for letting me crash the party this week. I'm usually never home on a Thursday, and it's thrown off my schedule, in a good way ;)
ReplyDeleteDebra, what a wonderful collection of majolica. Love the branch with the birds. Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteLove, love that cabbage dish of yours, beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic day!

Debra, thanks for hosting the party. I had a post about vintage Pyrex, but it is gone. I am hoping it will be restored. I also lost a new button it took me *hour* to make. If I don't get my post back, I will re-write it sometime next week and save it for next Friday. I truly enjoy your linky party, and although I do not always link to it, I enjoy seeing what you and the other participants have posted. Thanks for posting about the Japanese majolica. Your collections is fantastic! I had a cute strawberry basket tea set, and my bulldog broke it :( I really like both of the pitchers and the covered sugar bowl with the birds on it.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for hosting!

Your collection is lovely. I love the colors, sizes and shapes and how you grouped them together on the tray for the table. Makes for a great vignette.
ReplyDeleteI had to go in and rewrite my post and add more pictures. I think I have all the pics out of order but decided to go ahead with it. Also lost comments. Thanks for going on with your "Vintage Inspiration", and thanks for hosting the party.

Hi Debra,
ReplyDeleteSeems many of our friends were disappointed with blogger last night and today. I'm glad the issues were resolved and you were able to get the Vintage Inspiration Party up and running! I like your Majolica; especially the two pieces with the birds.

ReplyDeleteHi Debra~ Enjoyed visiting and ~wandering around~ your lovely home. Wishing you a Happy Sunday! Love~ Mandy (Thanks for your kind comment about my husband.)
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking the time to visit my blog and comment on my post when I join one of your parties. Many hostesses do not do that...so it is noticed and appreciated.
ReplyDeleteJust shows you can't keep a good blogger down...or shut her up...right?
ReplyDeleteLove Japanese majolica. My grandmother had several pieces that my sister and I share.
Debbie
Hey Sweet Pea... your room looks heavenly :)
ReplyDeleteI just emptied my cupboard of majolica... and packed it away, I have mixed feelings about it, especially since I see yours now - but my kitchen redo called for it so I am taking it to Farm Chicks. I hope it goes to a good home :)
Have a wonderful week!
I will keep you posted... Donna is on her way here... I have an extra bed! We could have fun making something to wear for the BoHo Ball!
Blessings
