This year seems to have been a year when I went from project to project.
Seeing all the great inspiration out here in blogland from you all,
definitely lit a fire under my fanny
to lighten and brighten and "whiten" up my home.
I tried a few things that I never would have thought about before
...slipcovering two red chairs in my Living Room,
and adding chair slips to my Dining Room chairs.
Oh, but I'm so glad I did, and I don't regret one little ounce of paint or sweat!
I'm linking up to Rhoda for her Top Projects Party,
can't wait to see what everyone else has been doing this year!
And Kim at Savvy Southern Style
If you've visited from a party hope you'll come back!
hugs,
Debra

Hi Debra, I do remember when you were doing those dining chairs and the new look certainly helped to transform the room. Just gorgeous! Happy belated anniversary. The marriage certificate in your previous post truly is a treasure. It is rather sad to think that it went to market but it certainly made its way to the right person for care. Wishing you all the best, Tammy

ReplyDeleteI forgot about your slipcovers ~ you did a fabulous job on those, Debra! Oh yes, that table, but it turned out for the best, didn't it? It looks just as beautiful. You did to your kitchen what I wish I could do to mine. However, we are hoping to sell and downsize this year and I think I'm going to leave any type of kitchen projects for a new house. I'll just look at your pictures! : )
