Our neighbors behind us just happen to have a huge crepe myrtle
that just happens to hang waaaay over our back fence.
Lucky me.
So now I can enjoy them too.
My silver water pitcher,
a small silver tray that at one time held our mail,
and my silver wedding hand mirror...
white vintage Sunday gloves
and a crucifix and medal necklace
are all together to enjoy a summer Sunday.
The crepe myrtle's sweet scent fills the late summer air.
Delicate white buds and blossoms

P.S. Is that crepe myrtle in the pitcher or hydrangeas? Whenever I try to cut the crepes, they wilt. What did you add to the water?
Debra I always love to see your silver. You are such a good silver owner, polish. What is that, nope I am a tarnish all the way. I love the flowers too, I would be cutting a bunch of those too if they happen to be on my side. Have a wonderful day.

Just picked up
a pretty silver
gravy boat at the
GW near my parent's;
$2.99 and some elbow
grease later and
it looks good enough
for my next Thanksgiving!
In the meantime, flowers
are the perfect filling.

Debra, I'm late arriving and posting for Silver Sunday this month. You silver vignette is gorgeous. I love the delicate blooms of crepe myrtle, and your little vignette of special silver smalls is lovely. Seeing your wedding mirror reminds me that I have one of these tucked away somewhere. I need to find it. Thanks for the inspiration! ~ Sarah
