I can hardly believe that it will be Christmas next week.
But we still have time to share our Vintage Inspiration for the Holidays!
I had so much fun making the altered bottles for Halloween
that I did a bunch up for Christmas.
Most of them I took to my booth space at Spring Creek,
but I've also been giving them as "mini"presents this year.
Edited for December 20ll.
I made these with vintage bottles and cut out pieces of old book pages for the background, then used graphics from Dover Publishing or the Graphics Fairy, cut them out and Mod Podge over it all. Super Simple
Here they are at Spring Creek
And a few on my kitchen windowsill holding some holly sprigs.
I'm going to start sharing a few of the entries from the previous week
to highlight some fun and inspiring vintage ideas.
There have been so many wonderful photos and inspiration,
but I just grabbed a few.
Linking to the Centsational Girl for Christmas Crafts, 2011
I'm also wishing Rebecca of A RE Purposed Life
a very Happy Birthday
and joining in on her Birthday Party.
And joining in for Feathered Nest Friday
and Show and Tell Friday
ss
Thank You, in advance for linking up with
Vintage Inspiration Friday!
Hope you'll grab the button and join in the fun.
Please be sure and link back to this blog within your blog post.
I know sometimes we're in a hurry, but it just takes a minute,
and it let's everyone else know how to join the party.
Love and Christmas Joy to you all,
Debra
Wow, Debra I didn't realize how big that one bottle was until I saw it in your full buffet display! Gorgeous! I need to keep my eye out for more myself; I haven't had much luck at Goodwill since the two smaller sized ones I found filled with Bath salts.
ReplyDeleteDebra, wishing you and family a very happy christmas time.

Loved your post today! And the bottles are sweet. Today I emptied a beatuiful bottle that a friend had given me last year (it had oil & UGLY flowers in it) & have visions of all sorts fo things to do with it. After taking "a class" on altered bottles I can't wait to play after the holidays. Thanks for sharing this wonderful weekly event. Hope you'll stop by & see what Hubby got for Christmas (post DEC 12) HUGS!
