French Country Christmas Dining Room Part 2

Hello Friends, I'm back today with Part 2 of the Christmas Dining Room. Since I have so much color in the rest of the house, with a lot of Tartan Plaid, I like to lean toward a more neutral color scheme and a French Country vibe in this space.

My favorite little corner is here in the Dining Room with the antique family washstand. My sweet little French Girl resides here along with a buffet lamp with an antique mirror watching over a seasonal vignette. I like to keep a tray of some kind here and most of the time it's this lovely vintage silver tray that my sister gifted me years ago.

My Lamb Tureen can be found here most of the year, but he gets a little dressing up during Christmas with some vintage Shiny Brites in gold.

This Madonna print in a metal frame was probably from the late 30's or 40's.

My moss covered initial "O" has an angel ornament attached

 for a bit more Christmas.

My older daughter brought one of these painted angels to me this summer. 

So sweet, it reminds me of her.

It's always hard to get good photos of the buffet because of all the bright light, even on a cloudy day. I'm using a few of my collection of demi-johns and one of my vintage ironstone tureens. It's also sitting on a silver tray surrounded with more of my gold and silver Shiny Brite ornaments and votives.

Deer shed antlers and some evergreens from the yard are tucked in.

We bought these vintage Silvestri heavy glass Christmas Trees for my husband's grandparents one Christmas when we first got married. I was gifted them back again years later by my mother-in-law after they passed. 

A William Bouguereau Madonna print is in a very old antique frame. 

My antique wire plant stand squeezes in holding some faux paperwhites, another lamb, a butter dish, and a vintage ironstone pitcher. It's a tight fit around the table, and the wire stand couldn't be one bit bigger.
