Welcome to October

Hello Friends and Happy October!

It's always been one of my "favoritest" times of the year.

No birthdays or special occasions.

(whoops, well yes, my husband proposed in October)

I just love the crisp, colorful changes that happen in this month.

I wanted to share a few snaps of my little chippy white antique desk

in the Garden Room and the goat cart dressed up for Fall.

(you can see it in the background from my last post.)

I filled the gray wash basket full of pumpkins for a farmtable centerpiece,

so the vintage wooden ice cream bucket was moved to the desk temporarily.

I did a little tweaking here,

so some pics are slightly different.

...like two pumpkins in the cart

and some floral fabric napkins on the desktop...

My concrete momma and baby squirrel are usually in this spot,

no matter the season.

unfortunately the real squirrels are on my "bad list" at the moment...

I've had fun this last year decorating this spot.

The old metal gate behind the desk 

makes a great backdrop for seasonal displays.

The yellow/gold mums in the olive bucket

are silk/faux from HL. I think they look pretty realistic.

I just love the colors of October.
