Patriotic Farmtable Garden Bucket with Flags

Hi dear friends, Hope you're doing well and enjoying this first week of July. Hard to believe this is now July. To be honest this summer is sliding by, although I know that things will slow down as we get to mid July. I haven't done much decorating at all for July 4th, but I wanted to share a few pics of the farmtable decor tableau that usually gets a changeup every month out here in the Garden Room.

My big rustic ice cream bucket is a staple out here because the large table needs something substantial and it's easy to change up the faux flowers. This time around it's holding a mix of white summery flowers; hydrangeas, viburnum, geraniums and other white mixable stems. Make it a little patriotic? sure, just add some flags! That's my answer to quick patriotic decor no matter what the room or space.

I'm also using my vintage white crate that seems to always show up in decor somewhere, no matter the season. It's so easy to grab, add a few color related seasonal objects, a bit of "green" plants and some other vintage garden-y goods.

I bought these cute little patriotic star pillow covers from Amazon a few weeks ago; sorry I don't have links. Easy to find, just google patriotic pillow covers. I bought cute pillow covers to fit these pillow forms a while back for fall, and I've just continued the idea for the seasons.

I love to collect colorful vintage bits and pieces that I can use

in fun little vignettes throughout the year and holidays.

I'm not sure where this bright blue cardboard piece is from, 

but I thought maybe it might have been from a grocery store or some

kind of establishment to remind patrons of no Sunday sales.

We'll keep things low-key here as usual.

I'm getting around slowly from the Lumbar spine fusion. 

My pain level and mobility is better,

but my stamina is very low and if I overdo it one day

I have a hard time the next day.

I've had to realize that this recovery will take awhile,

nothing I can do to hurry it along.

I'm so grateful that my husband is patient and loving.

He's been around to help me through everything!
