Sharin' O' the Green

Happy St. Patty's Day to all of you! I imagine that many of us here in the U.S. have a smidge of Irish in us. I like to think so, maybe for just today. I have always enjoyed pulling a few green things together to celebrate the Holiday. So I thought I'd share these images with you for a wee bit of Irish fun and hopefully a proper Irish Blessing!

Have a fun St. Patty's Day!
Have any of you done your genealogical heritage charts?
just wondering, I'm thinking about it...
I think there's a little Irish floating around somewhere.
could be my temper.

  1. Debra, I love your fun green vignettes! The ribbon is such a fun touch. I also love your pieces of green transferware. I think I may have a couple. :) Always love how you style your seed box! I haven't pulled mine out yet. It's so large and I had too much Easter decor. I'll bring it out after Easter. Glad you will be sharing with SYC.
    hugs,
    Jann

  7. Love your "showing of the green" Debra! I especially like the vintage frame displaying Irish themed postcards. What a great idea! Now I know what to do with some of mine. You use touches of nature in your decor to give everything that soft natural look. Thanks for sharing with all of us!

  11. Debra, if I could have a little cottage like the ones on the transferware cream pitchers I would be content forever:)
Everything is so green and vintage. Just perfect.

  12. Love this post, Debra! I remember the suitcase/box with the green transferware and the little pots and flower seed packets... It's a favorite of mine, of yours! Yes, I have researched on Ancestry.com and I am 48% Scottish-Irish (mostly Scottish) and the whole British Isles (96%) with 2% Alsatian (French?) and 2% somewhere else. Yeah... Before menopause, the temper... Sooo glad that is mostly gone! :D

Happy to feature your lovely post at tonight's Share Your Style #295,
    Big spring hugs,
    Barb :)
