My sister and I were long overdue for a shopping trip. We like to hit up our fave spots every couple of weeks, and so we headed over to The Vintage Peddler to take in the newest vintage goods and vendors. They keep things fresh there, because they have a great group of dealers, and obsessive good customers that keep them needing to bring in more vintage goodies. I've never gone in there without leaving with something wonderful.
It's always fun to see the seasonal vignettes and displays, since each booth is unique and filled to the brim with treasures. This was one among many paying tribute to the July 4th Holiday.
And of course there are our favorite peeps and their fabulous spaces that are yummy whites and neutrals; Farmhouse, French, and a little Shabby.
Don't you love this wonderful blue cabinet? You don't see that shade of original blue paint very often. I could almost hear the Star Spangled Banner in the background.
Game of croquet anyone?
Lot's of ironstone in Shelley's (the owner) wonderful space.
We checked out one of the large flea markets in Ozark under new ownership: Camp Flea, aka Maine Street Mall. They are transitioning to a more trendy vintage market, and have great traffic as they are on the main highway to Branson.
My blogging friends Abbey and Sara from Sweet Magnolia's Farm have recently relocated back to the Springfield area from California, and they've found a perfect spot at Camp Flea. They have a great Farmhouse vibe and they specialize in repurposing vintage linens into these oh-so-cute pinafore type aprons. I'm going to have to go back and pick one out. They were perfectly adorable. (I think I may have squealed when I saw them!)
These are 3-dimensional metal cutouts on shiplap. The photos don't do them justice. Very unique and each is one-of-a-kind. I'm sorry I don't know the vendor, but loved this piggy.
And I fell in love with this sign. (on top)
Anyone that's been married as long as I have
can really appreciate the sentiment!
Have a great week, everyone!

I love it when "we" go shopping! Oh, those aprons are adorable! Wonder if they sell online (will check your link first). Great sign, lol. ANd I love that blue cabinet. My sisters and I are LONG overdue for a shopping excursion. Enjoy the 4th. I'm finding that slaving in the kitchen to host family is NOT my idea of letting freedom ring!
ReplyDeleteHey Rita, I'm always thrilled when you come along! SMF just reopened their Etsy shop I read last night, and I know they would most likely be happy to do something you'd like. Honestly their space was so cute, I could have stayed an hour and wanted to try on all their aprons. and no for me too on spending hours cooking on holidays, we just don't do that anymore except on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
DeleteWOW on all that you saw and shared Debra.
