This year I added two new ornaments found on sale after Christmas,
depicting old clocks.
(all other items thrifted from the fleas)
and a vintage clock face.
It's here in the Entry,
where it's a reminder of a fresh new beginning.

ReplyDeleteDebra, what a great idea and so pretty, especially with the clock faces. There needs to be something in place of Christmas for awhile. I put all my snowmen out for the month of January..Happy New Year..Judy
ReplyDeletelove your tree, you are so talented. I have my branch tree up. Took down the vintage bird ornaments and left the orange slices, will have to jazz it up for new years. Add some bling, maybe strings of vintage pearls.
ReplyDeleteDebra,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely and creative idea!
I, too, use icy tree branches in the vintage half round basket. I tried a few SNOWflakes, but then changed my mind.
Your clocks remind me of a beautiful Antique Shop window I had experienced year's ago. A massive Antique bookcase filled with vintage clocks, Big Ben and Baby Ben clocks and vintage cameras. I know the Shop owner must have been surprised by my reaction, as I stood in the freezing cold for about 10 minutes (or more) taking it all in. "A Moment In Time"!!!
Have a Happy, and prosperous New Year, dear friend!!!
Fondly,
Pat
