Happy Weekend Everyone!
One of my favorite link parties is Debbiedoos' Copy Cat Challenge, where we take an inspirational image from a magazine, book, Pinterest, etc. and then try to "copy cat" the look.
This time, I chose an image from one of my favorite Christmas books, Merry and Bright , a Country Living Publication that came out several years ago. It's full of wonderful vintage ideas for decorating with a Vintage Christmas.
I don't have a lot, but Red Transferware is always a staple for my Vintage Christmas decor.
And of course a little glittered Bottle Brush Tree
This is just an easy little "copy cat" with a lot of charm.
I'm posting early since Monday is The Marketplace
over here at Common Ground.
But run by Debbie's and get your Copy Cat on in plenty of time
for her fun party this Monday December 10!
Have a great weekend!
xoxo,

ReplyDeleteI love red and white transferware especially at Chrismtas time, Debra! I did the same thing with a little bottlebrush tree but its in my brown and white transferware teacup. I need to work on getting some red. This is such a sweet little touch that fits in well anywhere!

Merry and Bright is one of my favorites, too. I pulled out an old silver goblet and have a snowman sitting in it. I copied the idea from this great book.
ReplyDeleteYour decoration turned out so well and this is a great idea for a blog link.
Fondly,
Glenda

My go-to "copycat" idea I stole from a dear friend about a hundred years ago...wrapping the extra toilet paper in Christmas tissue paper. Shall I take a photo and show it? LOL
ReplyDeleteYours is much prettier and sweeter than a pix of T.P.!
XO
Deb
