Yesterday afternoon, I had the pleasure of visiting my friend Robin's wonderful estate, the Humbolt Mansion, here in Springfield. Robin is the creator and owner of Robin's Vintage Suitcase, the Vintage Veranda Tea Room, and Ms. Gilmore's, a wonderful wedding venue. Robin and Rick's amazing 100+ year old home is a landmark here, and they are owners and caretakers of one of the most amazing homes and properties in the area. Robin's touch is evident at this fun time of the year, as she mixes antiques and one-of-a-kind collectibles with items she currently sells in her shop. These are just a few photos of her home impeccably dressed for a "Haute Halloween".
This is just the first post of wonderful Halloween inspiration.

Oh my goodness!... what a beautiful mansion Debra!... how lucky you are to be friends and be able to visit... and I really LOVE that they decorate so fun for Halloween... honestly, I am getting darn sick and tired of hearing some people say how evil Halloween is... no one is making them celebrate it... but they need to just keep quiet and let the rest of it enjoy it as the fun, innocent holiday it is... (think Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown here)... okay, I will get off my soapbox now!...
