Blogger aka Google
seems to be at it again.
For the last 2 days I've been trying to comment on blogs
and not being able to...
but I've just now learned something interesting.
Instead of choosing "Google Account"
just choose "anonymous".
then leave your blog name.
While I may not be doing the "Happy Dance"
at least we can adapt until they can get it fixed!!

Debra, I've noticed some funny things too. I will notice I have let's say 30 comments, then refresh and it will say 24. Then go back to the 30 etc. Also I had issues commenting on somone's post, then refreshed and refreshed and finally it allowed me to comment. Also, what is funny is, I'll see a new post from someone on my blog love, say two or three days ago, then suddenly it will appear again as though they just made it. Hmmm
ReplyDeleteYou are not the only one Debra! It has been giving me fits. I can comment on POP UP comment boxes , but not the others and usually it is the other way around for me. Hang in there and thanks for the heads up about the "fix".

I had someone tell me they were showing up anonymous on their end but showing who they really are on my end. Weird

Is the "stay signed in box" checked when you log in to blogger? Try unchecking it and see if that works.

ReplyDeleteHi Debra! The blogs that have pop comment windows are fine but I just learned another trick from another blogger. If you UNcheck the box when you sign into Google that says "Stay signed in" it lets you comment. Weird!!!

I've been having problems too, I haven't been able to get into my dashboard to do a post for several days... finally this morning I was able to post. Hopefully it will all get fixed soon!!!

Blogger has really been giving me fits too...same issues as you. I'm trying to comment the regular way first to see if it lets me. It does sometimes and doesn't others for the past couple days....no luck this time.

I'm so glad you posted this! I thought I was loosing my mind or my computer had a weird virus or something. I couldn't comment AT ALL. Instead of a box like this to type in, all I got the page asking you to sign in, but it wouldn't let me. All day yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI had the same issue for 2 days, how I got mine to work is I unchecked the little box where is says stay signed in and then logged in, and it has worked ever since. Weird, but it worked for me! See you at your party tomorrow!
