(This post is from the Spring, but I love doing Magazine Inspired projects,
if you're new here, I hope you'll click on new posts!
I'm joining Debbie at Blogging and Babbing
xoxo Debra)
It seems like I've been all about flowers and floral arrangements lately.
I guess that's what "Spring" does to me...
I just love to incorporate the colors of nature back into life.
pinks, yellows, lavenders...
and of course green.
And combine that with Easter coming up,
then I want an extravaganza of blooming beauty.
The watering can and umbrella are both hanging,
but I put together one of my watering cans with some faux silks
and have it setting in my sunroom so I can enjoy the view.
My love for lambs and sheep is showing here
with this precious little children's book,
Little Lamb's Hat
Don't you love the eyebrows on this little guy?
(do bunnies have eyebrows?)
Each season I love to change out my sunroom quilts and decor.
Last year I found this wonderful old quilt with all the colors of Spring,
More Sunroom next week!
And here are a few entries from last week!
A Rosy Note
(a new linky photo party)
Doilie Bowls
(don't these look like a bunch of little butterflies?)

The Feathered Nest
And the winner from the VIF participants

Hi Debra, Thanks for hosting. Just love your flower inspirations, and your sunroom looks so springy and relaxing. Enjoy!

This is my favorite post I have seent his week. I love the watering can and the way you have decorated it. I see you love old tool boxes too. I have all the old ones that belonged to my Father and Grandfather. Decorating ideas with them are endless. My Grandmother use to make those bowls with the doilies. She also made a tall vase one time and put a flower arrangement in it for a flower show and won. Thanks for sharing. Brought back some sweet memories. ~~Sherry~~
ReplyDeleteHi Debra! Thank you so much for featuring my trophy ribbons, you are so sweet! I have wanted to do that umbrella arrangement since last year and now you have reminded me to do it again. It will look so pretty on my front door, but I need to look for a pretty umbrella. I do have a watering can though, and that looks so cute on your table! Someone above said your room looks like a magazine shoot, and they are so right! Your sunroom is always so pretty, as is the rest of your home and your vignettes are so well thought out and photographed. I am away from home and so no post to share but I will be back next week and for now I will be inspired by the others! Thank you again! xoxo
