What says "Summer" like some seashells?
Then add some silver and a few jewelry trinkets,
and you can enjoy your "sparkle"
even when you're not wearing it.
I have a lot of vintage silver,
but I want to enjoy it, not leave it in the cupboard.
So I thought I'd add some seashells and some bling
for some fun jewelry display.
These are pieces that I've been working on
for my new "Petite Boutique".
Grab an old silver gravy boat or candy dish...
Find some shells...
and instead of tucking away your jewelry,
add it to the fun!
And Enjoy!
I'm linking with Beth today
for some Silver Sunday fun!
Hope you're having a great weekend!
love,
Debra

ReplyDeleteHi Debra,
ReplyDeletethank you for your kind visit and your sweet comment to my Silver-Sunday post.
Your jewelry is just beautifull and it adds the bling to the shells. For me this vignette is like sunken tresures on the ground of the ocean. So romantic.
Greetings, Johanna
Hi Debra,
ReplyDeleteYour seashells and silver are scrumptious! I love a little bling; love the gravy boat! Actually I featured some seashells today too but they can't touch yours for beauty! Have a beautiful day.

Hi Debra. You jewelry pieces are beautiful. I've never seen anything quite like it. Love the key and sparkle combination! And you photography and arranging skills are tops.
ReplyDeleteHugs...Tracy :)
Fantabulous My Love! Two of my all time Favs.Great photos and style.~Cheers Kim
ReplyDeleteI am sure it was because you like silver that I first started reading your blog. I have not many women who still like to have it around. Your jewlery is beautiful. I love the old keys with sparkly bling. I still have my grandmothers rhinestone jewlery, I used to call it my crown jewels and I would wear them in high school with my t-shirts and jeans.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment about the deck, I hope your husband did not groan when you show him. That happens to alot of husbands in my area, they do not like to bring their wives around so they will not get any of my silly ideas. Most husbands are not lucky like mine who have a wife that will build all of our arbors and decks right along side of him.
As for the chandelier on the deck, it got left out after a party and it snowed, I tried turning it on to see if it was still ok and wow, so it stays. I would not have left it out after that, but I was lucky and got it for a bargain of $10. and I have a great local shop that rewires chandeliers for a good price. Have a great rest of the weekend.
Love your jewelry!
ReplyDeleteSusanne.
Oh Debra, Silver & Sea Shells are a Beautiful Combo ~ Your Jewelry is Amazing.....
ReplyDeleteHave a God Filled Week
I love this idea of displaying your pretty jewelry. Much better than having it lay in piles on top of the dresser (like mine);)
ReplyDeleteHello Debra, Love your beautiful pics of the shells, silver and bling. They are so stunning.
ReplyDeleteI just returned home from a beach vacation, and am hung up on the sea shells. Am glad to be at home, but still yearning for the beach which is my most favorite spot ever!
Smiles and Blessings,
Nancy
What beautiful ideas - I especially like the gravy boat! And it's much healthier than what normally fills it!
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS, Debra!!! What lovely items you have & you've mixed & mingled them beautifully, too!!
ReplyDeleteI must go dig out my seashells from FL & get those on display. Thanks for the inspiration!

Rett

What a great way to display all your lovely treasures. I especially love the shells. My daughter has a large one she uses to hold some of her jewlery.

I love the combination of rhinestones, sea shells and silver. How pretty! I keep my rhinestones in a silver dish but never thought to add shells to the mix.
