I don't know whether to be insulted or thrilled.
I love magazines, and have been a subscriber to this one
for many, many years.
I let the subscription slide on this accidently,
so this is what I receive in the mail.

A huge "Senior Citizen" discount.
So I guess being over 55 does have some perks!
Nothing like someone else's random opinion of your age,
making you feel "FABULOUS"!
BTW, that is NOT my photo!
Have a good weekend, even if you're Over the Hill.
Debra
I love you "being real" girlfriend! This is so funny! Hey, senior citizen or not...you are saving some bucks on your subscription...I say renew it!
ReplyDeleteHow clever of you to stick a cabinet card of you over the bill! haha JUST KIDDING Debra!!!! :)
Thanks for the laugh...too cute!
everything vintage
(no, I'm not talking about you ;) haha
Ha! Listen, I will take a discount for just about any reason. I say take it and run! ~Mindy

Don't fret my friend. You LOOK GREAT! No one would guess your age. Blame the computer! I do...seems to work for EVERYTHING these days!
Love to you~Rebecca
Take the discount put on your glasses read and fall asleep while reading. It all goes together...
ReplyDeletejust kidding... You are as young as you feel. Best wishes, sandi
I am still laughing.
ReplyDeleteWe are all in this together.
I have been buying senior coffee.
Geez...what next?
Oh well, it takes being this age to really get life, right?
laura
They obviously have you confused with someone who is a senior in high school! I'm sure that's what they meant! Too cute, smarty pants.
ReplyDeleteDebbie
It says senior rate, not senior citizen. School recently started and I'm sure they thought you were in your final year of college or something. That's your discount for completing your freshmen through junior years. Class of 2010. Yeah, I'm sure that's it.
ReplyDeleteYou are a kick! I new they darn near give businesses these magazines for next to nothing, but a senior discount ... Love the pics. Have a great weekend. TTFN ~Marydon
ReplyDeleteMindy's right...take that 'ol discount whenever you can!! I used to get upset when GW asked if I wanted my Senior discount..now I'm telling them I want the discount and then they ask me for an ID...go figure! Loved your post on the cloches...
ReplyDeleteMy Best
Gale
I know how you feel. I was shopping the other day and the girl at the register asked if I had a senior discount card. I think I gasped aloud! But I am 54 after all.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
June
Don't you just love it?? Don't forget all the AARP stuff that is showing up. I turned 55 in March. AND then it starts.....So let's just take the discount. Age has it's merits. How 55 looked old when it was are parents, must be all the anti aging stuff they put in the creams.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Donna
IS THIS YOUR FRONT PORCH??????
ReplyDelete.... I JUST BOUGHT HUMONGOUS WHITE PUMKINS AT MY FARMERS MARKET
55....NOT YOU!
Sooner or later I guess we have to face the fact but I am still running...when the aarp stuff comes in the mail I quickly dump it into the trash bin.

Can we get this deal if we are not 55 or do they think only those over 55 are forgetful?
ReplyDeleteWhat is up with Southern Living?
I guess it pays to forget to send in your subscription on time.
Lois
